TAYLOR. STINKING. SWIFT.

Hey everybody! I hope you are doing awesome!!! I am still in shock from yesterday and I have no voice from screaming. Why you ask?

Because...

I GOT TO SEE TAYLOR SWIFT IN CONCERT!!!

I seriously think that was the best show I have ever been to in my life!!! I am a major Swiftie and I can't even tell you how excited I was to finally see her live!!! It was her RED tour so I got to hear her perform lots of my new faves!!! (ex. Red, I Knew You Were Trouble, Treacherous, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, etc.)

Also, Ed Sheeran performed as the opening act and he was INCREDIBLE!!! I already knew I liked him but I definitely didn't listen to him as much as Taylor, but this stirred a new Ed love ;) He made all of the sounds for his songs by himself by recording different noises he made and looping them! It was amazing!!!

It was even better because the tickets came from my best friend and her brother who I got to go with!!! It would definitely not have been as fun if I went without them!!! :) I can't thank them enough for the best Christmas present of all time!!! :D

Here are some pictures and videos from last night! Please excuse the singing of me and Abby on all of the videos ;)

Love and T-Swizzle,
Em :)

Empty Chairs at Empty Tables

Hey everyone! I hope y'all are doing well! We have had a busy week, but luckily we have the day off of school tomorrow! Woop woop!!! :)

As some of you know, and I might have shared in a different post, I have been learning ASL for about a year now. It really has become one of my biggest interests and I really want to use it in my career someday!

One of my favorite things about ASL is signing to music! I just recently starting doing this when we covered the signing to music project in my class. It really gives the song a different meaning when you get to sign to it, in a way I can't even explain! I honestly sign to almost every song I listen to now, and my friends have noticed...oops. Hahaha :)

So a couple of days ago, I recorded my self signing a song called Empty Chairs at Empty Tables, one of my favorite songs from my ALL TIME favorite musical Les Miserables! (Prounounced Lay Mez-er-ab for those who don't know...its one of my pet peeves! Haha!) It is a sad song but it meant so much more to me performing it, even if it was just in front of a camera! I hope you enjoy the video and if you want to see more videos that will hopefully come in the near future, subscribe to my youtube channel!!! ;)

Love and lots of signing,
Em :)

The New Miss KHHS :)

Hey everyone! Today is my last day on spring break for the high school and it has stunk this week! I have been home sick with bronchitis since last Monday, and I am not too thrilled of going back to school still sick! Oh well, I guess I can't hide from school forever ;)

So about four weeks ago {I can't believe it has been that long!}, I got to participate in my high schools scholarship pageant! Now, I know in my last post I explained what it was, so look back there if you want to figure it out ;) This year was Phantom of the Opera themed, and if you know me and my love of musicals, you know this was right up my alley! I really had a blast working with those girls for months to prepare for this night, and I will never forget the great time we all had!!! To my very pleasant surprise....I actually won! Needless to say, I was quite shocked! Hopefully I can use this position to do some extra good in the community and be a witness for Christ!!!

Here are some pictures from the other night!!! Thank you so much to all of you who helped me through this amazing journey! A new journey is about to begin!!! :)

Love and lots of bling,
Em :)
