Summer Lovin :)

Hey everyone!!! Sorry I've pretty much been MIA for like a month! With the last month of school comes a lot of exams and projects, so you haven't missed out on much!

Here is a quick recap of what has happened since I last posted:

^^^My sister and I had a photo shoot and surprised our mom for Mother's Day!^^^

^^^And some of my closest friends graduated high school!!!^^^

Yeah, not that much happened, but it was still a pretty fun month ;) Also, as of yesterday, I AM OFFICIALLY A SENIOR!!! I can't believe that time has flown by this quickly, and I know it only gets faster from here on out! But I know God has a plan for this year and I am beyond excited to start discovering it!

Now that school is out, a whole bunch of my summer fun is about to start!!! I seriously think this is going to be my favorite summer to date, and my past summers have been pretty awesome :) Here is why:

1) Only 16 more days until I go back to the beautiful beach house that we stay in!!! We have some wonderful friends at our church that have been kind enough to lend us their beach house for a week every year for the past four years or so! It is gorgeous, right on the beach, and we always have a blast! Sadly, this year my best friend who always comes with us can't make it, and we will miss her so much! But i'm sure we will still have a fun time and I can't wait to head back there soon!!!

The view from the outside deck = gorgeous!!!
 2) Pretty much as soon as we get home from the beach, we pack back up and head to SLU 301!!! I can already tell this will be the highlight of my entire summer! If you don't know what SLU is, click HERE for some info! It is really a program every young adult should experience! We will fly to New York to get on a plane and go to London!!! Then we spend a whole day and a half there, ride the Eurostar to Paris and spend about two days there! From Paris we will travel back to London to finish out our trip and our SLU journey with a graduation ceremony in an auditorium in Oxford College! I am seriously beyond excited and I will do some serious blogging when I get back ;) I have a journal that I'm bringing that I hope to write down a lot of things on our trip, so I hope I can share some of those entry's with you guys!

3) Last year, our youth group started doing our own summer camp instead of going to a big name camp somewhere far away. We were all VERY skeptical last year, as we were used to the huge camps, fancy hotels, etc. But last year's camp turned out to be one of the best summer trips I had ever had! We used the cabins and facilities of a campground near to our church, got to spend a lot of time swimming and playing serious beach volleyball with our friends, and most importantly growing in our relationships with God! I am so excited that we will be doing the same camp this year with a different theme, but they haven't told us what it is yet ;) All I know is that it will be a blast and if it was anything like last time, I will love every minute of it! :)

That is just the start of all of my summer fun! I can't wait to see what the summer of 2013 holds for me and my friends!!! I will try to keep y'all up to date on all that is going on!!

Love and summer fun,
Em :)
