Scrapbookin' it up!

Hey ladies and gents!!! I hope yall are doing good!!!

Today was an incredible day! I went with a few ladies from Miss KHHS to a nursing home 20 minutes away from where I live to give out teddy bears for valentines day :) Those men and women were some of the sweetest people that I have ever met. A few people started to cry just because we gave them a tiny bear; it was one of the only things they owned. We all started to tear up as a few people kissed their bears and screamed thank you! We got to bowl with them and it was hilarious!!! I hope to go back soon ;)

When we got home, we had to get straight to work on my scrapbook page!!!  For Miss KHHS, we have to do an interview that is worth 15% of our final score. Before we go in, we give them a scrapbook page that we have made for a few minutes so they can get a sense of who we are, and so they can know what questions to ask. It is a really cool way to let them get to know you before you even get to meet them!!!

Here is what the two sides of my scrapbook:

This pretty much sums up my life!!! It talks about my family, Dana, SLU, Christ, books, Relay for Life, Down Syndrome, Autism, VBS, sign language, and New York City (my favorite place to visit) ;) Hopefully it will be a good way to start my interview!!!

Love and lots of scrapbook work,
Em :)
